Eunji Yoo joined joined the Freedom Speakers International (FSI) English Empowerment program in 2018 as an English language student and became a member of FSI’s North Korean Refugee Keynote Speakers Network in 2026.She was born in Hamhung, North Korea, and settled in South Korea in 2011.

Having studied music from an early age, she continued to pursue her passion for music in South Korea, majoring in classical guitar  at the Korea National University of Arts.

She is currently active as a classical guitarist, performing for audiences on a variety of stages. Through music and storytelling, she also works to raise awareness and understanding of North Korean refugees and contributes to education about Korean reunification, helping people from North and South Korea better understand one another and build closer connections.
