Evelyn Jeong joined the Freedom Speakers International (FSI) North Korean Refugee Keynote Speakers Network in early 2021. She was a featured speaker at two FSI conferences that year, the International Freedom Conference in April 2021 and the Regional Freedom Conference in May 2021.

Evelyn escaped from North Korea in 2013. She went through three different countries to escape to the USA. She is a US citizen, which is rare for North Korean refugees. She is a popular YouTuber discussing a range of North Korean issues.
