Jieun Kim worked as a doctor for 10 years after graduating from medical school in North Korea. After I defected to South Korea, I graduated from oriental medical school and I am currently working as an oriental doctor.

I am the first oriental doctor who completed medical degrees in both North and South Korea. Currently, I am studying law and pursuing a J.D at Kookmin University, and teaching students as an adjunct professor at Ajou University. In 2021, I also published a book titiled, “You Can Choose” in Korean.
