Juhyuk Kim joined Freedom Speakers International in 2024. He is currently a senior at Handong Global University, majoring in International Area Studies and Korean Law.

He left North Korea at the end of 2015 and worked in logging in China for about 4 to 5 months. It took nearly a year to reach South Korea. He began settling into South Korean society in January 2017. Now, as someone who hopes for unification, he is studying and preparing for it with a vision for the future.
