Sujin Kim joined Freedom Speakers International in 2024. She has experienced severe malnutrition in North Korea and worked without pay in China. Despite these hardships, she believes it is essential to survive and find her own identity.

She came to South Korea in 2007 and currently lives in Seoul with her husband and two children. Adapting to a capitalist society has been challenging for her. Recently, she has developed an interest in both world history and Korean history.

Sujin loves playing the guitar, as music helps her relax. She is eager to share her experiences and discuss the difficulties of adjusting to a new society, as well as the strategies she has used to overcome these challenges.
