Sumin An came to South Korea from North Korea in September of 2011 and entered Hongik University as a Western Painting and Fine Arts major in 2015.

She graduated in February 2021, and she is currently working as a full-time artist and a freelance visual designer.

She wants to be an artist who can share life stories and help people experience healing through art. In particular, she wants her works to help people who went through difficult times in their lives.
